Veolia and its joint venture partner are responsible for the full management of water services for the city of Changzhou, located near Shanghai in the Yangtze River Delta. The 30-year contract includes production, distribution and customer services for the local population of 2 million. A range of improvements has been made, in particular in customer service, which is a new concept in the country’s water sector.
