On behalf of Veolia, Laurent Auguste, Senior Executive Vice President Innovation and Markets, accepted the award under the "Multinational" category sponsored by Accenture. The circular economy is central to the strategy and commitments of the global leader in optimized resource management. By breaking water, waste, and energy silos, and innovating by combining digital technologies with advanced industrial processes, Veolia has led circular collaboration across industries, cities, and communities. Producing secondary raw materials and energy from waste, extending the life cycle of equipment, using renewable resources and recycling waste water are all circular solutions devised and deployed by the Group all over the world
"Veolia is particularly honored to have won this award because we see it as a recognition of our strategy to protect resources and our ability to devise and implement circular economy solutions with our customers and partners," added Antoine Frérot, the Group’s CEO.”
